The Blue Jean Gospel

Welcome to my corner of Blogdom. The Blue Jean Gospel is a mixed bag of thoughts pertaining to Christian spirituality and discipleship, plus a bunch you didn’t ask for. I write for the rest of us—misfits, rejects, knuckleheads, jerks, failures and losers. Those the world has given up on and those who've given up on the world. On the flip side—the religious, righteous within themselves, holy-rollers, bible-thumpers and do-gooders aren't as likely to feel at home here. I write about a God full of prodigal love, scandalous grace, liberating freedom and mindblowing mercy—the God who's not beholden to psychologists, isn't limited to second chances, refuses to be defined by intellectuals, won't be put in a box by Pharisees, doesn't answer to a man of the cloth, isn't frightened by sinners nor intimidated by Atheists.
